Carnival Inspiration is the sixth fantasy class ship of the Carnival Cruise Lines on which my wife and I onboard to get lifetime memories on our honeymoon. Both of us were first timers on a cruise and were very excited to enjoy our vacations on the cruise. We found that the room service is excellent and was available all through the day. We both liked the midnight buffets and the food service is of excellent quality that offers a variety of delicacies with superb presentation. Carnivale and Mardi Gras are the two dining rooms that were not at all crowded so we had quality time with each other.

The promenade of the Carnival Inspiration stretches through the ship’s length and is decorated with leather sofas, banquettes and chairs and violin stems. The huge art collection has been displayed in the public places but the Mona Lisa’s rendition in the Pablo’s Lounge is just remarkable.

Our cabin was a standard one, which was 185 sq. ft and had twin bed configurable into king. Lightening was absolutely proper and the individual reading light at our bed was an added comfort as my wife is a book lover. Closet and drawer space was more than enough for two of us sailing on a 7-day itinerary.

Paris Lounge is a modern theatre, which boasts special effects, laser lights and sound system to give competition to any show room on land. We had to reach there early in order to get good seats as some of them provide obstructed views of the stage. We also tried our luck at Monte Carlo Casino, which offers blackjack tables, craps, poker, slots and roulette. One of our favorite places on the Carnival Inspiration was the Rhapsody in Blue, a sing-along piano bar.

As far as spa and fitness are concerned, snorkeling equipments are available for rent on the cruise and a topless area of sunbathing is situated on Sun Deck. Nautica Spa also includes a beauty salon, and a fitness center offers treadmills, pneumatic pressure machines, stationary bikes, whirlpools and Stairmasters. There are total six whirlpools and also a jogging track.

Many families on Carnival Inspiration were great company. There were two formal nights on the board where I wore a suit with a tie and my wife wore a cocktail dress, it was a thoroughly enjoyable event. Wearing shorts and swimsuits is not allowed at dinner in dining rooms while during the day, most of the people could be seen in shorts, t-shirts or swimsuits.
