I just came back from the Carnival Splendor cruise yesterday and undoubtedly, I had a great time on board with my friends. We had no problem taking some little drinks onboard. Some of us took bags of wine, beer and different types of alcohol without any problem even at ports. Embarkation was implausible with no waiting, no lines and the luggage is carefully handled by the Carnival.
Taking special care of kids, the ship provides 5,500-square-foot playroom for children and also a pool covered with sliding sky dome. Adults can relax themselves in the fantastic facility of spa spread in 21,000 sq foot. More exciting and fun filled amenities we explored in Carnival Splendor include water slide, seaside theatre and jogging track.

We loved those movie nights on the pool area, which kept us warm by retractable roof. The quality of sound and picture was just excellent. We found that the layout of Carnival Splendor is almost similar to that of Freedom and that is why we did not have any trouble while navigating. We twice ate at the Pinnacle Restaurant and enjoyed some great meals as well as relaxing nights.
The thermal suite and T-pool are great and we all had a great time enjoying Rasul mud treatment. For sports lover passengers, the cruise has the availability of 9-hole golf course where they can enjoy their best shots.

As usual with the Carnival cruise lines, the room service of Carnival Splendor is impeccable. The lounges, especially Morocco Lounge, were exquisitely well decorated. There is a neatly designed area of casinos and gift shops for the shoppers’ delight. Our rooms at Carnival Splendor were quite spacious and a plentiful area is there for storage, including three closets, two big drawers under our couch, five drawers on desk, one unit of shelving with door and one with open shelving.

The dining room had excellent service and the food was extremely delicious. We cannot forget enjoying fine dining at supper club, The Pinnacle, where more than 20,000 meals were there to offer. The ship is bright, clean and easy to go around. We enjoyed ourselves at the casino packed with various adventurous and fortune making games. Worth mentioning, we had great fun at the mini golf and the smoke filled piano bar where has a real treat of lifetime.
I must say that Carnival Splendor is a great ship to enjoy cruise experience!
