A beautiful teak deck with luxurious padded chairs surrounds the promenade and the central piece of the ship is a glorious crystal globe. The globe is made of 100% Waterford Crystal and is suspended above the Atrium from hand-wrought brass holders. The Oosterdam globe was created to celebrate the Holland America Line's over 135-year history of circling the globe and stands as a shining example of fine art mixing with technology to create something spectacular.
